Fish n chips are a Kiwi favourite and one of the cheapest meals to be found (although in the inner city suburbs of Auckland fish n chips probably won’t be your cheapest take out meal). We recently had scrumptious fish n chips at Oppie’s Fish n Chips, 259 Fenton Street, Rotorua and noticed they were the Hawkes Bay/Waikato Regional Winners of the “That’s Life! Best Chip Shop Competition 2009”.
