No, there is no need to register or create an account.

Is it really free to post an advertisement on travellersads?
It is free for individuals to advertise and it is currently free for commercial businesses.

What are the terms and conditions for posting an advertisement and using the information provided on the website?

Are my details secure?
Yes, all email addresses entered in the "Your Email" box when an ad is posted are encrypted which means they cannot be harvested for use by spammers. We will not supply your email address or contact details to any business or individual soliciting details for marketing or any other purposes.

How do I post an advertisement?
Click the Post Ad tab on the left side of the screen and follow the prompts. If you have a problem step-by-step instructions are below. If you're still having difficulty please contact us and we will assist you.

Instructions for posting an advertisement:

Click the Post Ad tab on the left side of the screen
Select the Area that you want to place your advertisement in
Select the Category
Select the Subcategory
Enter the Title
Enter the Location
Enter your advertisement details in the Post box
If you would like to enter a link for a website relating to your advertisement enter it in the Insert a link box and press Insert
Enter the Price (if applicable)
Enter your complete Email address
Click in the appropriate circle to signal how you want your email details used in conjunction with your advertisement
Enter the Security Code shown in the text box
You can upload up to 8 images with your advertisement. If you would like to include one or more images click on Browse and select the images from your computer
Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions
Click Post Now.

Why do I need to enter the security code?
The system requires a security code be entered manually as this ensures the advertisement is being placed by a person rather than an automated system. Manual insertion of a security code helps safeguard the website from being spammed with irrelevant and inappropriate advertisements.

What happens after I've posted an advertisement?
You will be sent an email asking you to Verify your email address. Click the link provided in the email to verify your email address and your advertisement will be posted on to the website immediately. (If the email doesn't appear remember to check your Spam/Bulk folders).

How long will my advertisement be on the website?

Advertisements posted by individuals will be on the website for 21 days.

Advertisements posted by accommodation providers will automatically be on the website for 100 days. We will edit other business advertisements posted on the website to ensure they also remain on the website for 100 days.

Please note: You can edit or delete your advertisement at any time (see below).

How do I edit or delete my advertisement once it has been placed on the website?
Open the email sent to you to Verify your email address and click the link to edit/delete your advertisement. If you cannot locate the email or you have deleted it click Resend ad links at the bottom of the Home page or click here to be taken to the Resend ad links form.

Do you have any ideas about how I can get more people to look at and respond to my advertisement?

If you're selling a vehicle/renting a room etc include good quality photos.

Provide a detailed description, eg. for vehicles include warrant of fitness, registration and mileage details. Advise the make, model and year of the vehicle and whether any mechanical/body work has been done. List the extras that come with the vehicle, eg. tinted windows, camping equipment, built in storage space etc.

Always include the price if applicable and if the price is negotiable highlight this in your advertisement.

Make it easy for people to contact you - provide email details AND phone/text contacts if you can. If you're in one of the larger cities it's a good idea to include the suburb in the location details.

Consider using your sense of humour when writing your advertisement, people are probably more likely to remember it and tell others about it if you do.
